# Change or cancel your plan

Upgrade from Free, switch between Launch and Grow, pick monthly or yearly billing, or cancel.

## Before you start
- A card for Stripe checkout.
- If you hold a registered domain, you decide what happens to it before you cancel.
- About 3 minutes.

## Upgrade from Free
1. Open **Settings** > **Billing and usage**.
2. Click **Upgrade**. The plans page opens.
3. Choose **Monthly** or **Yearly**, then click **Choose Launch** or **Choose Grow**.
4. Pay on Stripe's checkout page.
5. Wait for yaya to load again. The plan badge shows your new plan.

## Switch between Launch and Grow
1. Open **Settings** > **Billing and usage**.
2. Click **Upgrade** (on Grow, **Change plan**).
3. Click **Switch to Launch** or **Switch to Grow** on the other plan's card, then confirm on Stripe's page.

## Cancel
1. Open **Settings** > **Billing and usage**.
2. Click **Cancel plan**.
3. Confirm the cancellation on Stripe's page. Billing then shows when the plan ends.

If you hold a registered domain, a **Your domains need a choice** panel appears first. For each domain, click **Transfer out** or the keep-and-pay-separately button. Cancelling waits until every domain has an answer.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan runs to the end of the paid period, then your site stays live on Free.
