# What yaya charges on payments

The percentage yaya keeps from each card payment on your invoices, by plan.

## The fee by plan
When a customer pays an invoice by card, yaya keeps a share of the payment. The share depends on your plan.

- **Free**: 3%.
- **Launch**: 1.5%.
- **Grow**: 0.5%.

yaya takes the fee from the amount charged and rounds it down to the whole cent. On a $200.00 invoice, Free keeps $6.00, Launch $3.00 and Grow $1.00.

## Where to see yours
The rates above are what yaya keeps on each plan. Your plan shows under **Settings** > **Billing and usage**.

## When a plan change applies
yaya sets the rate when it creates the customer's checkout. A plan change affects payments created after it. A checkout already open keeps its old rate.

## Refunds
A refund returns yaya's fee on the refunded amount. See [Refund a payment](/support/articles/billing/refund-a-payment).

## Questions
**Is this separate from Stripe's own processing fees?** This article covers only yaya's share. Stripe sets its own fees. See your Stripe account for them.

**Does the fee apply to Mark paid invoices?** No. It applies to card checkouts only.
