## Before you start
- Your old blog posts, or their addresses.
- Your images downloaded to your computer.
- About 5 minutes per post.

## What the import covers
Posts move over by hand. Onboarding import reads one page address and the images on it.

## Move a post
1. Open your old post and copy the title and the text.
2. Open the blog in the workspace and click **Add post**.
3. Paste the title and the text.
4. Add the images from your downloaded folder. See [Add and generate images](/support/articles/website/add-and-generate-images).
5. Save, then publish.
6. Repeat for each post. Do your top five by traffic first.

> Tip: Skip posts nobody reads. A small blog with ten good posts beats fifty thin ones.

## Move images
1. Download the originals from your old media library, not the resized copies.
2. Rename files with plain words, like team-photo.jpg.
3. Upload them in the editor.

## Fix common problems
**Formatting broke after paste.** Paste as plain text, then reapply headings and links.

**An image will not upload.** The file may be over the size limit. Compress it and try again.

**I have hundreds of posts.** Move the ones with traffic, then email support@yaya.page about the rest.

See [Redirect old URLs](/support/articles/migrate/redirect-old-urls) for what happens to old post addresses.
