# Plans, costs and the YAYASOLOIST code

What the Free plan includes, what costs money after you leave Soloist, and what the YAYASOLOIST migration code covers.

## What the Free plan includes
The Free plan costs $0. The pricing page lists these items for it:
- A site at yourname.yayasite.com.
- You approve every draft.
- A built-in contact form and SEO basics.
- 200 AI credits each month.

Every plan includes one site per workspace, 256 MB of storage and 10 MB per uploaded file. You can keep the Free plan for as long as you like.

## What costs money
The pricing page at /pricing shows the current prices. Read it for numbers. This article does not copy them.

- **Hosting.** The pricing page lists no hosting charge. The Free plan hosts your site at yourname.yayasite.com.
- **Your own domain.** Connecting a domain you already own works on every plan, and yaya adds no fee. Your registrar still charges its own renewal. Buying a domain through yaya needs Launch or Grow. - **Email on your own domain.** A mailbox needs a paid plan. Free has 0 mailboxes, Launch has 1 and Grow has 5. See [Plans and billing](/support/articles/billing/plans-and-billing).
- **Payment fees.** yaya keeps a share of each card payment on your invoices. The share is lower on paid plans. See [What yaya charges on payments](/support/articles/billing/what-yaya-charges-on-payments).
- **Support.** The pricing page lists no separate support plan. See [Contact support](/support/articles/troubleshooting/contact-support).
- **Publishing.** The pricing page lists no charge for publishing.

## The Soloist migration offer
Your workspace qualifies after you save a site you moved from Soloist. It must have no earlier subscription. See [Move your site from Soloist to yaya](/support/articles/migrate/from-soloist).

The upgrade dialog then shows the migration offer:
- Launch is free for 90 days.
- Grow is free for 180 days.
- A payment method is required.
- The plan renews at the price shown after the offer. Cancel before it ends to avoid a charge.

## The YAYASOLOIST code
The checkout code defines the YAYASOLOIST code like this:
- It applies to Launch with monthly billing only. It does not apply to Grow or to yearly billing.
- It takes 100% off the first three monthly invoices.
- After that, the Launch monthly price on the pricing page applies.
- Checkout asks for a payment method up front.
- It works for a first subscription on a workspace with a saved Soloist migration.

## Where to type the code
Type the code on Stripe's checkout page, in the field "Add promotion code". The field shows only in these cases:
- You choose the Launch plan.
- You choose monthly billing.
- The migration offer does not apply to your workspace.

The field does not show for Grow or for yearly billing.

The code and the migration offer do not stack.

## Use the offer
1. Move your site and save it. See [Move your site from Soloist to yaya](/support/articles/migrate/from-soloist).
2. Open **Settings** > **Billing and usage**.
3. Click **Upgrade**.
4. Read the migration offer in the dialog, then choose your plan.
5. Confirm on Stripe's checkout page. Check the date the plan renews.

## Fix common problems
**The dialog shows no migration offer.** The workspace has no saved migration, or it already had a subscription. Email support@yaya.page with your workspace address.

**I want to stay on Free.** Do nothing. Your site stays live on the Free plan.
