## Before you start
- Your domain connected under **Website** > **Domain**.
- Access to your DNS provider.

## Find out which one is wrong
1. Open **Website** > **Domain** and find your domain.
2. Read the status. **Connected** means yaya is ready to serve it.
3. Click **Check again** if it says yaya could not verify the domain.
4. Open the site in a private window to rule out your browser.

## Fix common problems
**The status is not Connected.** The record at your DNS provider does not match the one yaya shows. Compare the name and the value, then wait a few minutes and click **Check again**. See [Fix a domain that won't verify](/support/articles/domains/fix-a-domain-that-wont-verify).

**Connected, but the old site shows on some devices.** DNS spreads gradually. Each record has a TTL, which is how long other servers keep the old answer. Your old record's TTL decides how long the old site can appear.

**Certificate warning.** Certificate setup can take a few minutes after DNS resolves. Wait, then reload.

**Still the old host after a long wait.** Look for a second record on the same name at your DNS provider, such as an old A record next to the new one. Remove the old one.

**Only www or only the bare domain.** Each hostname needs its own record. Connect both.
