## Check the three things in order
1. Look at the button in the top bar. **Publish updates** means edits are still unpublished.
2. Click **Publish updates** and wait for **Published**.
3. Open the live address in a private window.

## Fix common problems
**The button still says Publish updates.** Your changes are in the editor only. Visitors see the live version until you publish.

**Published, but the live page looks the same.** The edge cache holds each page for up to 60 seconds. Wait a minute and reload. Nothing needs clearing.

**Your browser shows the old page.** Browsers recheck the page on every visit. Do a hard refresh or use a private window to be sure.

**An image or style looks old.** Files follow the same cache rule. Wait a minute and hard refresh.

**Publish did not complete.** The top bar shows an error. Try again. Publishing allows 10 requests per minute from one network.

**You restored an old version.** Restoring makes it the live site. Check the version in the version history, then reload.

**The site has a password or access list.** Those pages skip the shared cache. Reload as a signed-in visitor.
