# Embed a widget

Add a Calendly or Common Ninja widget, or paste your own embed code, into a section.

## Before you start
- A share link from Calendly or Common Ninja, or an embed snippet from another tool.
- About 3 minutes.

## Embed Calendly or Common Ninja
1. Hover the page and click **Add section**.
2. Open **External sections**.
3. Pick a layout.
4. Click **Edit section**.
5. Choose the provider: **Calendly** or **Common Ninja widget**.
6. Paste the share link from your provider.
7. Click **Save** to keep your changes.

The link must be on the provider's own address. yaya rejects other addresses.

## Paste your own code
1. Add a section from **Custom code**.
2. Click **Edit section**.
3. Paste your snippet into the **Code** field.

The code runs only on the live website, inside a sandboxed frame. It does not run in the editor.

## Set the size
Open the **Style** tab. Set **Height** to **Content height** or **Full screen**. Set **Width** to **Inset** or **Full width**.

## Fix common problems
**The widget is blank in the editor.** That is expected. Click **Publish updates** and check the live site.
