# Preview on desktop, tablet, and phone

Switch on Preview to see the draft as visitors will, at three screen sizes.

## Preview your draft
1. Click the **Preview** switch in the editor toolbar.
2. Pick **Desktop**, **Tablet** or **Phone**.
3. Scroll the page and click through your links.
4. Click the **Preview** switch again to go back to editing.

Tablet is 768 pixels wide and phone is 370.

## What preview shows
Preview shows the draft, including edits you have not published. Preview hides the editing tools, so you see the page as a visitor does.

Custom code and embedded widgets run only on the live website. They may look empty in the preview. See [Embed a widget](/support/articles/website/embed-a-widget).

## Fix common problems
**The preview looks different from the live site.** The live site shows your last published version. Click **Publish updates** to send the draft live. See [Publish your site](/support/articles/getting-started/publish-your-site).
