Move your Mixo website to yaya

Paste the address of your Mixo website. yaya reads the page, fills in your business, and drafts a site you review before you publish.

Start with your address

Before you leave Mixo

Download your website data

Mixo offers a paid export of published source files. Its guide does not list the package’s image contents; keep your original images too. Exported sites cannot be imported back into Mixo.

  1. Publish the changes you want to keep; Mixo only exports published files.
  2. Open Mixo’s source-code download guide and follow its purchase link if you want the paid export.
  3. Send your receipt confirmation number and site name to support@mixo.io to request the files.
  4. Save the files Mixo provides and your original images before cancelling.
  5. If you do not buy the export, copy your page text and save images from your published site manually.

Move a domain you bought from Mixo

Mixo’s Custom Domain Program terms say purchased domains sit in Mixo’s Namecheap account, which you cannot access directly. Ownership and discounted-domain conditions can affect a transfer; check them before cancelling.

  1. If you bought your domain through Mixo, ask support@mixo.io to transfer it to your own Namecheap account.
  2. Give Mixo your Namecheap username when requested so they can move domain access to you.
  3. Once you control the domain, replace its website DNS records with the records yaya gives you.
  4. If you bought your domain elsewhere, open that registrar’s DNS settings and replace the Mixo website records with yaya’s records instead.

Then connect the domain to your yaya site. It connects free at every tier. Source: Can I download the source code for my Mixo site?. Read 2026-10-14.

How it works

  1. Copy the address. Open your Mixo website and copy its address from the browser bar.
  2. Import your site. Paste the address into the form on this page and press Import my site.
  3. Open your draft. Sign in if asked. yaya continues the transfer. Review your draft when it is ready.
  4. Review and publish. yaya drafts the site. Review it, change anything, then publish on a free yayasite.com address.
  5. Move your domain. Connect your own domain when you are ready. It connects free at every tier.

Common questions

What does yaya read from my Mixo website?

yaya reads the public page at the address you paste. It drafts your business description from the business name, the page description, the first paragraphs and any phone or email it finds. When yaya builds your site, it tries to copy up to 8 photos from the page, takes an accent color from it, and keeps a font when the page names one yaya offers. If yaya cannot read the page, nothing is copied. You edit everything before you publish.

Will my Mixo website go offline?

No. yaya does not touch your Mixo account. Your current site stays live until you point your domain at yaya.

Can I keep my domain?

Yes. Every site gets a free address on yayasite.com, and your own domain connects free at every tier.

What does yaya do after I publish?

yaya keeps working: SEO and GEO content, posts, review asks and follow-ups. Anything that costs money or reaches a customer waits for your approval.
