Terms of service

These terms govern your use of yaya. By signing in or using the service, you agree to them. If you use yaya for a business, you confirm you can bind that business.

The service

You describe your business. yaya generates a website draft, and you can review it, change it, and publish it. An agent can edit the site and take other actions for you; an action that costs money or reaches your customers asks for your approval first. Parts of the service are still being built, and features can change.

Your account

You sign in with Google or an email link. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 18 years old.

Your content and data

You own your business record, your site content, and any customer or lead data you store. You give us the rights needed to run the service: to host your content, to generate drafts from your description, and to publish at your direction.

You are responsible for what your site says and does, and for having the right to use the material you give us.

Generated content

Site drafts are produced by a model provider and can be wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable. Review a draft before you publish it. What you publish is yours, and you are responsible for it.

Domains and payments

You can connect a domain you already own, or buy one through the service. Prices and availability come from domain providers and can change until checkout completes. Purchases are processed by Stripe, and a registered domain is subject to the rules of its registrar. If a payment succeeds but the purchase fails, contact us.

Acceptable use

Do not use yaya for anything illegal, harmful, hateful, or infringing. Do not send spam. Do not probe, break, or overload the service, and do not use it to break the rules of another platform. We can suspend or remove accounts and sites that do.

Fees

There is a free tier, and some features are paid. A price is shown before you are charged. Fees are not refundable unless the law says otherwise or we say so in writing.

Indemnity

If your content or your misuse of the service brings a claim against us, you cover it.

Disclaimers

The service is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses: lost profits, lost data, lost business, or damages caused by third-party providers such as registrars or payment processors. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred US dollars. Where the law does not allow these limits, they apply to the fullest extent permitted.

Changes and ending

We can change the service or these terms. This page is updated when we do, and continued use means you accept the change. You can stop using yaya at any time. To delete your workspace or account, email us.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
