Own your site and leave any time

What you own

You own your business record, your site content and any customer or lead data you store. The terms say so. yaya only hosts, processes and shows your content so the service can run.

You also own your domain. A domain you connected stays registered at your registrar, in your account. A domain you bought through yaya can move to another registrar at any time.

Take a copy of your site

An owner can download the whole workspace as one file. The file holds your business details, your site files and your uploaded media. See Export your data for the steps.

The export has size limits. A file over 5 MB is skipped, and the total is capped at 10 MB of site files and media. The manifest in the file lists what was skipped.

Customers, leads, notes, invoices and payment history are not in the file. To get them, email support@yaya.page.

Keep your domain

• A domain you connected. Remove it from your site and point its DNS at a new host. Nothing moves, because the domain was never at yaya. See Disconnect a domain.
• A domain you bought through yaya. Get the auth code and move it to another registrar. See Transfer a domain out of yaya.

Leave yaya

1. Export your data. See Export your data.
2. Move or disconnect your domain.
3. Cancel a paid plan. See Change or cancel your plan. Your site then stays live on the Free plan.
4. Delete the workspace or your account when you are done. See Delete your account.

Questions

Do I pay to leave? There is no exit fee in the pricing page or the terms. Paid plans end at the close of the paid period. Fees already paid are not refunded unless the law says so or yaya agrees in writing.
