Turn links into icons
- Click the social links section, then click the three dots and Edit section.
- Open the Style tab and set Link style to Icons.
- Click Done.
Each link that points to a known network shows its brand icon. The link's Name stays the accessible label for screen readers.
Which links get an icon
- Known networks such as Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Mastodon and Pixelfed resolve from the link itself.
- Well-known Mastodon servers such as mas.to, fosstodon.org and hachyderm.io also resolve from the link.
- Any other link keeps its text name until you pick its network.
Pick the network for a link
Some servers, such as a small Mastodon or Pixelfed instance, have a name that does not show the network.
- Click Edit section, open the Content tab and click the link.
- Set Network to the network, for example Mastodon or Pixelfed.
- Click Back, then Done.
Network is Auto by default, and then the link address decides. A pick changes the icon only. The link's Name and its address stay as you typed them.
Keep the text list
On the Style tab, set Link style to Text to show the names instead.
Footer links
The footer's social links use the same icon set. Pick Mastodon or Pixelfed as the link type in the footer editor.
