Import and download contacts

Before you start

• A file in CSV, JSON or vCard format.
• For CSV, an Email column. First Name, Last Name and Phone Number are optional.
• Up to 10 files per import, 4 MB total.

Import a list

1. Click Customers in the left rail.
2. Click the upload icon (Import contacts).
3. Drop your files in the box, or click to choose them.
4. Click Import.
5. Read the result line, then click Done.

The result reads like "Imported 40, skipped 3 duplicates, 1 errors." Errors list the file, the row and the reason.

Download customers

1. Tick the box next to each customer, or tick Select all.
2. Click Download in the bar that appears.

The CSV file has ID, first and last name, email, phone, created and updated times for the customers you selected.

Fix common problems

Rows were skipped as duplicates. Email is the identity. A row with an existing email is skipped. A row with an existing phone is skipped too and listed in the errors.

"Those files are over 4 MB." Split the list into smaller files.
