Unpublish your site

Take your site offline

1. Open the More site actions menu.
2. Click Take site offline.
3. Read the prompt Take your site offline?
4. Click Take offline.

Visitors see a not-found page at your public link. Your draft stays in the editor. Nothing is deleted.

Put it back online

1. Open the editor.
2. Click Publish.

Your last draft goes live again. It returns to the same address.

Before you start

• You need permission to publish. If Take site offline is missing from the menu, ask the site owner.
