Before you start
- A published site.
Open the visits page
- Open your workspace.
- Go to the Site visits page at
/workspace/<your workspace>/analytics. - Read the panels from top to bottom.
What each panel shows
- People on your site now: visitors active at this moment.
- Last 7 days: unique visitors and page views.
- Visits per day (last 30 days): a bar for each day.
- Most viewed pages: your pages ranked by views.
- Phones, tablets and computers: the device split.
Use it
Compare the most viewed pages with the pages you want customers to reach. If your services page gets few views, link to it from the home page. If a page gets many views and few enquiries, rewrite it.
After you edit a title or description, give search engines a few weeks before you judge the effect. See Edit page titles and descriptions.
Fix common problems
All numbers are zero. The site may not be published yet, or nobody has visited it. Publish it and share the link.
A notice about traffic volume shows. The page tells you when counts are too small to read much into.
