What moves and what does not

yaya reads the public text, headings and image references on your live Soloist site and drafts a new site from them. Your Soloist forms, newsletter list and integrations do not move. Set them up again in yaya.

Before you start

  • A Soloist login and a yaya account.
  • Your Account Code from Name.com if your domain was bought through Solo Domains.
  • About 30 minutes for the site, plus DNS wait time.

Move your site

  1. Open the Solo designer and choose Account Settings from the top-right menu.
  2. Click Download Website Data. You get a ZIP with your HTML files and a CSV of image links.
  3. Download your images from those links. The ZIP does not contain the image files.
  4. Open yaya and start onboarding. Paste your site address under Already have a website? (optional) and click Import from my site.
  5. Read the description yaya filled in under What does your business do?. Fix it and add anything the page left out.
  6. Pick your business type, location and language, then click Next.
  7. Review the draft in the editor, upload your saved images, and publish. See Publish your site.

Point your domain to yaya

If you bought the domain through Solo Domains, Solo says to create a Name.com account and email your Account Code to support@soloist.ai. The domain then lives at Name.com. Follow Move a domain to yaya from there. Pro or Grow subscribers get a prorated refund to the original payment method, calculated as of October 1, 2026.

To see what yaya costs and what the YAYASOLOIST code covers, read Plans, costs and the YAYASOLOIST code.

After the domain is live, check Keep your email working and the launch checklist.

Fix common problems

The import is missing pages. yaya reads the page at the address you paste. Paste the text of other pages into the description yourself.

The site is already down. Paste the text from your downloaded HTML files into the description field.
